“Everyone at From You Flowers is thrilled to see us make Inc.’s list once again,” commented Michael Chapin, the company’s President and co-founder. “We’re especially proud to say we’ve been able to sustain our impressive growth at a time when the broader economy presents such headwinds for small and medium sized companies.” Chapin credits the company’s focus on customer service and retention paired with controlled growth. FromYouFlowers.com is an internet retailer of fresh, florist delivered flowers, plants and gift baskets and was counted as the 106th fastest growing company in the retail sector.

This year, From You Flowers appears at #2121 on the overall list, a ranking generated by looking at private American companies’ three-year revenue growth rate.  Between 2006 and 2009, the Old Saybrook, CT based company posted a 123% increase in sales volume. In recent years, the annual release of the list has served as unique barometer for measuring the overall health of America’s small businesses. Last year’s list saw Inc. 5000 companies boast an aggregate revenue increase of$29 billion over the previous year and take claim for the creation of more than 1 million jobs since their inception.  This year’s honorees have seen an impressive total growth rate of 45.8%.  The complete 2010 Inc. 500 | 5000 list will be appearing on newsstands and online at Inc.com.
